Icarus Peel's Acid Reign - ANDY BUDGE

Andy has a wealth of experience - both playing live and in the recording studio. Andy plays the bass for the 'The Cary Grace Band' and 'The Honey Pot'. Andy has played bass on over nine album releases and has been credited on multiple album and single releases. As well as being a stalwart in 'The Cary Grace Band' he continues to collaborate with many other musicians including ‘MauveLaBiche’ and ‘Steepways’. In 2017 Andy toured extensively throughout the United Kingdom with 'The Luck of Eden Hall'.

Having taken over from Brian Rushbrooke Jay has seamlessly fitted in with the band and his presence has given the power trio's live shows that ‘extra edge’ Jay is an experienced working actor who has appeared in films, music videos and has worked on the stage. He met Icarus many years ago whilst playing in the Devon band ‘Stemroach’ and they have kept in contact ever since. Jay played drums on the 6 track ep ‘Barnburner’ by Mordecai Smyth and Icarus Peel and on Icarus’ 2016 album ‘Forget Me Not Under Pussy Willow’ - both released on Mega Dodo.

Very much influenced by Hendrix, Icarus started of as a solo artist, releasing four albums under his name. Icarus also writes and plays guitar with The Crystal Jacqueline Band and with The Honey Pot - both acts have released multiple albums on vinyl and CD. During his career Icarus has played and recorded with many notable musicians including Tony Durant (Fuchsia), James Lowe (The Electric Prunes), Dick Taylor (The Pretty Things), Judy Dyble (Fairport Convention) and many many more.
